Supporting the Community

In 2011 G4S Dijbouti carried out a number of events and activities involving local communities

At the beginning of the year, G4S celebrated a 'Happy Day' event with orphans and disabled children. The main theme of the event was engaging with our future generations, following the principle that ' the value of a smile is priceless'.

Events took place at two locations 'La Pergola' and 'Fun City,' with activities including games, karaoke, swimming and various competitions. There was a great family atmposphere at both events.

G4S also organised an event aimed at raising awareness of the environment at a private school - Champion - located along the Boulevard De Gaulle in Djibouti. The initiative again demonstrated our commitment to future generations and in particular highlighted the importance of nature and the environment for younger generations.

In 2011 G4S also won the prize for Most Appreciated Theme in awards celebrated at the 2011 World Environment Day.
